This is a seasonal realm, which means it will start over every couple of months. Draft seasonal realm: A realm where you get to pick between 3 completely random skills every 2nd level, until you hit 60. You can also turn PvE gear into PvP gear, however not the other way around. All gear you get from players will be turned bloody. Normal (PvE power) and Bloody (PvP power). The better gear you got equipped, the better gear you can find in the open world from killing mobs. In the High Risk version, If you kill a player, you can grab 1-3 pieces of his gear, depending on how well geared he is compared to yourself. But the coolest of this is the world pvp system. There are Random Enchants to all your gear to buff all your talents etc. Currently roaming the Classic version of wow, with WotLK talent trees, this is super Pvp minded. Project Ascension offers a classless wow, where you can pick between all skills and talents from the game up until level 60 (currently).
With two different game modes, and more on the horizon, Ascension is the premier location for custom WoW.

Oh and the GM response is so fucking quick given its a private server, I've never waited more than a minute with a issue They also have lots of cool little extra features they've added, last Halloween we had a raid boss outside scholomance, we have a special forge which gives any wearable items a random enchant and not your traditional enchants, ones they've come up with. Thats pretty much it off the top of my head, I'd say number 3 is the most important.
Just watch out with one or two if they start to bait you outside of citys you'll probably be ambushed, but I find that adds to the fun of it The community there is great, it does remind me of wow when I first joined, everyone is willing to help you out to a degree. There's loads of youtube videos out there playing with stuff.ħ) Be part of the community. For example, you can make a holy priest / holy Pally DPS and that's insane damage and survive-ability for a Classic server. I'm currently trying to mine thorium to buy gear.Ĥ) Don't carry around excess gear or mats to sell, I'm not sure if the PvE server is up yet, but last time I was on it's just the PvP server, you can get killed by anyone and when you do, you by default leave a chest behind and it takes 3 of your items randomly off you to go in it.ĥ) Should you find yourself away from a city and you have loads of valuables on you, buy some food and split it into stacks of 1 and fill your remaining slots, it increases the chance of that to be picked if you do get killed.Ħ) Research around a little with your talents, some things which seem cool don't work, while others you might not think of are extremely OP. IIRC you can have the temporary pets at the same time, so a voidwalker and ghost wolfs or w/e they are.ģ) Don't buy the level boost, I did for one character but its a massive pain in the arse, you don't get any gear what so ever, you do though get your professions to 300. take all the affliction lock and shadow priest spells, the dots will expire before you finish casting the last one and you'll use up you're entire mana supply in one rotation.Ģ) You can't go OTT on pets, for example you can have the spells to learn summon void walker and tame pet, but you can't have both at the same time.
